Condolences for Carrie L. Johnson

Ms. Carrie represented. She represented what a dignified Black woman was. She never raised her voice, did what she could to correct wrongs, did not have any children yet everyone was her child. She honored her parents which is why her days were long. Rest well Ms. Carrie. God and our community have been blessed because of your kindness!

I know you are in a better place Ms. Carrie and you are with your parents. I will never forget our conversations about your parents and the Lord. Death takes the body. God takes the soul. Our minds hold the memories and our hearts keep the memories. You gave us a lot of memories Ms. Carrie and I will personally miss you. Rest In Peace

You always said I would miss you when you were gone and you never lied. I will miss all of your stories, advice, jokes, class, sass and most of all you telling me to “go sit down”. I will always cherish the last time I saw you smiling and dancing. You are dancing with your Father and Mother now. Rest Well Ms Carrie.

My sweet Miss Carrie..I loved you and was so hurt that I couldn’t visit with you, but I know God makes no mistakes and I know you’re resting in His arms with your hair styled to the Nines. I love sweet Angel ❤️
