Lois, I was so sorry to hear of Don's passing. I truly enjoyed the times we visited on Facetime ('thanks' to the pandemic). Prayers of peace for you and your family. May Don rest in peace in the arms of Jesus forevermore.

Don was our neighbor in Indian Lakes when we lived there from 1976-1981 and then we left for the Northern VA area when I left the Navy, Don taught me how to fix my car and watched out for my wife and kids during my two 7 month deployments to the Mediterranean. Always concerned about us. Several years ago, I visited him and Lois when I went to see my son Eddie and his family: Eddie and Jeffrey were close in age too. I am so gad and grateful that I did. There is a saying from Ecclesiastes: "There is a time unto Heaven: A time to be born and a time to die." May God have mercy on Don's soul. I am deeply saddened.
