Marcie was a very favorite teacher of mine. I found myself working so much harder on my work in her class because she always cared so much, and I never wanted to disappoint her! After I finished college, I married and moved close to her in the same neighborhood and saw her in a grocery store 30 years ago. She has been one of my closest friends since. I loved Marcie. Such a unique, smart, witty, and compassionate friend. She spoke her mind which was so refreshing. I was always facinated by the stories of all she had endured throughout her life. I have a great respect for her and her principles for teaching which never wavered despite opposition she faced on multiple fronts. She raised a truly wonderful daughter, as lovely a person as herself. I miss her. I hope she is forever at peace. I imagine her cracking up the angels!

I was so saddened to read of your Mom's passing. Mary was one of my favorite retirees from NNPS. I always enjoyed her visits and talks. She loved to talk about you and her 3 precious grandchildren. She was so proud of each of you. May you feel God's presence and love deeply as you go through this time.
