How we will miss Lion Sandy at Diabetes camp. Your smile, laughter and organizational skills made our Family camp joyful. Your CHKD Diabetes Center family will think of Sandy fondly every spring as we start to plan.

I have known Sandy since high school days at Cradock in the fifties and followed him from afar as he distinguished himself in civic affairs. He was an exemplary civic servant, who lived a good life. My deepest sympathy to Doris and their children. May he rest in peace.

We are so sorry about Sandy's death. He was a very nice man and he always came over and asked me about Larry. They surgery at the same time in 2003 and were always brothers in Christ who looked out for one another so to speak. May God be with your families at this difficult time. Know he will be missed by his family, church and community.
