I grew up with Boogie in Ocean View in Norfolk. I lived on 27th Bay Street and met him when we were just kids. We stayed friends for years. I just saw his obituary and I want to send my condolences to his friends and family...R.I P. Ol' buddy.

What a wonderful, sweet spirited, gentle man. Gone on before us, to be reunited again in Glory. May Jesus bring healing to the hearts of his loved ones.

So sorry Donald (Boogie) had to leave us at such a young age. He was one of a kind, always smiling ,with a kind word for all. I will always remember how gracious he was letting me spend 2 weeks in his home when my husband was in the hospital in Chesapeake. It was easy to see he truly loved his wife, siblings, children and grandchildren. I will miss him and his sweet smile.. May he rest in peace with his loved ones who went before him.

My uncle, nothing will be the same without you. Words can not describe how much you are loved and will be missed. The wonderful memories I have of the time we spent together are endless and the stories of them could fill a book. You have left an imprint on everyone you came in contact with, your kind heart and giving nature is something nobody will forget. A piece of our hearts will forever be with you and until we meet again we will live it up as you would want us to. xoxox
