I had the honor of knowing my sweet mother in law for over 42-years. She always treated me like her very own son! I love her fondly and will miss her greatly, David.

She always had a nice word for me when we met which wasn't often enough. Wish she would have met my new wife Dawn but now she can see her and I am sure she would approve. Rest easy until we meet again. Love -Mike

I hadn't known Mrs. Davis very long but I could tell she truly loved her family and always greeted me with a big smile. She will be greatly missed.

My grandma was the best grandma there was! Everyone who knew her cared so deeply for her. I will miss you forever and love you always, but I am comforted knowing you're home with God and seeing grandpa again. Tell him hello and that I love and miss him.

Your mom had a love of life, and she enjoyed people of all ages. Keep her memory alive by sharing good stories about her.

Although she was my former mother-in-law, I never thought of her in that way. I don't think she ever considered me her former son-in-law. On my birthday and at Christmas I always received a gift from her! She was a very generous woman that truly loved her family. Rest in peace Mrs. Davis...

Loretta was so kind and generous to everyone. She has a big heart and loves her family. When we joined the Jones family in 2010 she embraced us as if we had always been there. She will be missed by everyone and treasured in our hearts and memories. My heart goes out to her family as they go through this journey. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless to each of you.

As I sit here in the same house (66 Putnam St., Watertown) the old song: Those Wedding Bells Are Breaking Up That Old Gang of Mine takes me back to the mid 1940's when we three (you, Alyce and I) would sit for hours on endless nights on our old cold stone steps (now redesigned and remodeled) and just talk and laugh for hours on end. Thank you, Loretta, for sharing a few of the best years of my teenage years. I'll never forget them or you.

Oh my precious long-time friend since 2nd grade, how I treasure our memories and the same-wave- length sense of humor we shared!! We had a way of sending each other into hysterical roll-on-the-floor laughter...! A part of me just died with you. To ALL of you wonderful children, Caroline, Mary, Jimmy...know that my heart and prayers are with you. I shall spread the sad news to my sisters and Ann S. and whoever is still with us from "OUR GANG". Would love to hear from any of you,and thank you so much for your return phone call Lisa. God Bless!

I'm so sorry for your loss. Uncle Leonard and Loretta meant the world to all of us. I don't know what my Mom would have done for all the help she received from them both. I know what loss is and I hope that day by day you realize to only remember all precious memories. All our thoughts and prayers go out to you in this time of need. All our love, from Colorado.
