Phil and I have been blessed to be friends with and be in the same church family with Walter and Margie for many years. Walter was a wonderful, kind, friendly, giving and man of faith. Phil enjoyed having Walter as a friend and working on church projects. What a sweet reunion when we all get there. We are remembering you in prayer Margie and are sorry for your loss. You are close in thought.

Margie, so sorry for your loss. Walt was a "wonderful" man. So full of energy in church, loved "GOD" Loved to sing. Sooo Friendly. Now Jesus gained another Angel. Praise God in all he did AMEN.

Papa was an amazing man. I loved coming over with my sisters and mom for lunch and dinner. He always made me laugh and smile. He will be very missed by us and I am honored to have had him as my great-grandfather.

I cherish the wonderful memories I had with my Papa, from making glue from plastic yogurt cups to singing songs on the way to the boardwalk. He was funny and pleasant to be around. I never heard him gossip or speak ill will about anyone. Life lessons were unspoken, yet spoke volumes. I will miss you Papa!

I will always remember the puns and bad dad jokes delivered in that happy baritone. We always loved visiting Uncle Walter for holidays in New Jersey as children. I'm glad to have been able to see him more when he moved to Virginia Beach. It was so easy be happier when he was around. I miss him.
