Dear Candi, Everyone loved Jack. He was always such fun and so good-natured and ever easy company. Memories of S.P. and V.B. are only surpassed by long lazy weekends at the Lake. Jack loved you beyond measure and his love will live forever in your heart, I know.

Jack and I came together to Mohawk in May, 1960. Our class included Jack Hanson and Dick Pederson from Eastern and Larry Rausch. We became captains in about 2 years when Mohawk got about 15 Martin 404's from Eastern. Jack was a pilots pilot and found Coal Yard Charlies in Rome NY, a local bar, he help make a favorite watering hole for us for many years. Any discussion of those days included Jack

Candi, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Jack. I was his crew scheduler for many years and I have many memories of my relationship with him. I remember the tragity of the loss of his wife in England. And I'll never forget years later when he asked me to arrange to have you as a flight attendant on a 4 day trip with him. I did that and we know how that turned out. I have the brass diving helmet that Jack gave me in my rec. room to this day. I retired after 55 years from American Airlines last year and it's people like Jack who made it fun to go to work every day. God Bless you and your family. Oz Lamonds Manassas, Va.
